Rock n roll never looked so good! It’s like if you guys had been born in America, you could have made it so big baby! This is better than early Lou Barlow’s home recordings. And I’m a huge fan of the Sebadoh and Sentridoh man. The time is now. The stage is set. The world is listening. It’s twang to the kings! Er maybe you guys can let emusic.com have your songs and get them to classify you as singapore music. see how it goes from there.
Reminds me of the times “performing” at that Marina South open air amphitheatre and used barely passable equipment – well, except for Leslie’s drumsticks, those were good.
BTW, I still use the old crappy TEAC tape recorder used to “record” the “master copies” of Witch Doctor. Ha ha.
thank you so much for saving the recordings and posting them up for download. a wonderful surprise to stumble upon your site to find such wonderful gems. yes, a kings revival is indeed due in 07!!
When Don called and told me about this site, I told him I’d check it out! Good memories and jams with the Kings. Damn we look so young on the photos, checkered shirt and all at Marina South. That was one memorable gig we played, Don even broke some guitar strings – good times! Can’t believe how 15 years go by just like that! One for my history book for sure.

for better or worse, local indie music just doesn’t sound like this anymore. a window into an era that hopefully isn’t forgotten by today’s indie kids

it has always been about the content

Got a tip off from Red, great tunes guys. I described them as free-spirited and with a real charm.
